Fred
Fred is a miniature Highland cow (or Coo). Even though Highland cows are famous for braving the snowy Scottish Highlands, they actually do just fine in warmer climates too! Their long hair helps regulate body temperature by insulating them from both heat and cold — kind of like nature's own climate control system. As long as they have shade and plenty of water, Highland cows stay cool and comfy, even on hot southern days!

Kyle
Meet Kyle — he's a dairy steer! That means he was born a boy to a dairy breed likely a Jersey/Guernsey Cross. While he doesn't make milk (of course!), he's a superstar in his own right. Dairy steers are known for being gentle, friendly, and curious — perfect for farm visits and animal lovers of all ages. Kyle loves attention, snacks, and being part of the Outside Inn crew!

Poppy
Goats like Poppy are natural-born explorers and love standing on things: tables, rocks, stumps... you name it! Poppy is a Nigerian Dwarf mix goat, a small but mighty breed known for being friendly, playful, and full of personality. She might be tiny, but her curiosity is larger than life! Nigerian Dwarf goats may be pint-sized, but they're full of personality — and milk! These tiny goats can produce up to 2 quarts of sweet, creamy milk a day, rich in butterfat, which makes it perfect for cheese and soap.

Branch
Branch may have horns to rule the herd, but he's definitely king of head scratches! As a wether (a neutered male goat), he's calm, cuddly, and full of charm. He'll lean in for love any chance he gets — just look at that face!

September 2023
Amy
Amy is the queen of the goat yard — wise, calm, and always in charge. With just a look, she keeps the rest of the herd in check. Strong and steady, Amy is a large-framed goat with a regal presence and the instincts of a true leader. Whether she's standing guard or strolling the pasture, everyone — goat or human — knows she's the boss. Kiko goats are known for being tough, smart, and excellent moms — just like Amy! Originally bred in New Zealand to thrive with minimal human help.

September 2023
Abby
Abby is Amy's oldest daughter. She's a bit timid and often startled by her own shadow (or a chicken flap), but she finds comfort in staying close to Mom. Don't let her shyness fool you — Abby is curious, sweet, and slowly coming out of her shell. Watching her grow braver each day is part of the joy of the farm.

September 2023
Betty
Don't let her size fool you — Betty might be the tiniest goat in the herd, but she's also one of the feistiest! Likely a Pygmy goat, Betty brings big energy in a small package. She's quick to claim the best hay pile, hops onto every surface she can find, and isn't afraid to put bigger goats in their place. We call her our "spicy little goat" because she's got sass, spark, and a whole lot of attitude packed into one adorable frame.

Binx
Born on Halloween weekend and named after the beloved black cat in Hocus Pocus, Binx is all charm and snuggles. As one of Betty's kids, he may have inherited her spunky streak, but Binx is best known for his superpower: cuddling. Whether he's curling up with his goat siblings or resting his head on a hay pile, Binx brings calm, cozy vibes wherever he goes. He's the kind of goat who melts hearts — one snuggle at a time.

Winnie
Winnie may have started life on the bottle, but she's grown into a loving, attentive mama with a big heart. As Binx's twin sister, she was named after Winifred from Hocus Pocus, and just like her namesake, she's got a bold streak. Since her mom Betty couldn't feed both twins, Winnie was hand-raised by us at Outside Inn — and that special bond shines through in her gentle nature. Now a proud mom herself, Winnie has proven to be patient, nurturing, and completely devoted to her boys.

January 29, 2024
Cookie
Cookie may be sweet by name, but she's got some serious stage presence! If she loses sight of her mama Amy for even a second, she'll let the whole farm know with her signature bleat — a high-pitched "scream" that turns heads and starts giggles. Cookie's outgoing nature and bold voice make her one of the most entertaining goats in the herd. Fun Fact: Not all goats have horns! Cookie is naturally polled (born without horns).

January 29, 2024
Cocoa
Coco takes vocal expression to the next level. Her dramatic bleats sound like a tiny goat opera — especially if she thinks she's been left behind. While she's just as cuddly as her sister, Coco's got a flair for the theatrical and isn't shy about demanding attention. Whether she's calling for Amy or showing off her prance, Coco keeps things lively.

Delilah
Delilah is our sweet and sassy mini Angus cow and proud mama to Fefe. She spent the early part of her life living in a backyard with goats for company, which made her a little unsure when she first arrived at Outside Inn — especially surrounded by actual cows! But with patience and time, Delilah has found her footing and now fits right in with the herd. She's gentle, independent, and quietly confident, often keeping a watchful eye on her calf while enjoying the calm of pasture life.

Jersey Boys
Vinnie and Pauly D are our bottle-fed Jersey steer brothers — not by blood, but by bond. These two calves came to the farm together after a rough start, having been sent to auction far too young and likely missing out on the early nutrition and care they needed. Since then, they've been on a journey of recovery, receiving constant attention, proper feed, and lots of love to help them thrive. Though still under close care, these resilient "brothers" are growing stronger every day.

March 2023
Ollie
Ollie is our Jerusalem donkey and the quiet protector of the barnyard. With his calm eyes and strong build, Ollie takes his role as a livestock guardian seriously — always alert, always nearby, and always watching. Though he may act a little shy when the crowd gets too big, he's incredibly loyal and brave, especially when it comes to keeping his farm family safe. Ollie doesn't need to make a scene to get the job done — he prefers to let his presence do the talking.

March 2023
Stella
Stella is the fiery redhead of the pair, and she's just as bold as her coloring suggests. She came to Outside Inn no bigger than a Yorkie, but she's grown into her role as queen of the mud patch with confidence and flair. Whether she's rooting through the straw or leading a slow parade around the pasture, Stella knows how to keep things interesting — and she'll always pause for a snack or a scratch behind the ears.

March 2023
Luna
Luna, with her striking black coat and creamy markings, is the quieter of the two — but don't mistake her calmness for weakness. This sweet-natured pig is all about cozy naps, slow strolls, and standing by Stella's side. She's a gentle soul who wins hearts with her wiggly tail and chill vibes, proving that big piggies can be just as huggable as the tiny ones.

March 2023
Cole
Cole Slaw, affectionately known as Cole, is one of the most beloved pigs on the farm. Though he arrived alongside Stella and Luna, Cole's journey has been a bit different. Born with a degenerative condition affecting his joints, Cole didn't grow like the others and has limited mobility. But he makes the most of every moment — waddling out each morning for his breakfast, his medicine, and a quick sniff around the pasture before settling into his favorite nap spots.

May 2024
Pumba
Pumba is our easygoing, deaf Kune Kune who joined us from a friend's farm and instantly became part of the crew. Though he can't hear the world around him, he doesn't miss a beat — he watches the girls closely and follows their lead with confidence and charm. This sweet guy will happily flop over for a belly rub and soak up every second of love. His gentle nature and strong sense of connection show that listening isn't the only way to belong.

August 2024
Terrance
Terrance is our Angus/Hereford cross steer, and he's as sweet as his polka-dotted nose. Raised on a bottle, he's become incredibly gentle and affectionate, often seen hanging out with his buddies Kyle and Branch in their "boys' club" pasture. With his soft eyes, laid-back nature, and curious spirit, Terrance is quickly becoming a farm favorite. He may grow into a big, burly steer — but he'll always be our soft-hearted bottle baby at heart.

September 15, 2024
Walker
Walker, with his soft golden coat and calm demeanor, is the perfect little gentleman. As one half of our Nigerian Dwarf twin duo, he brings a peaceful energy wherever he goes — especially to goat yoga, where he's been known to curl up quietly on a mat mid-pose. With a steady gaze and a heart full of sweetness, Walker is always ready for snuggles and selfies.

September 15, 2024
Texas Ranger
Texas Ranger might be small, but he's full of spark! With his bold black-and-tan markings and curious nature, he's the one most likely to bounce from mat to mat looking for new friends. Don't let his quiet cuddles fool you — this little guy has moves (and hops) that impress even the yoga pros. Together with Walker, he completes one of the most beloved pairs at Outside Inn.

November 2024
Allie
Allie is our elegant blue-eyed white Holland Lop and a true showstopper. With her soft white coat and striking ice-blue eyes, she brings a little magic to the bunny hutch. Allie is gentle, calm, and curious — always the first to peek out when visitors approach. As a mama, she's incredibly attentive, and guests love meeting her fluffy babies born right here on the farm.

November 2024
Noah
Noah is a black tortoiseshell Vienna-marked Holland Lop with a sweet disposition and a touch of mischief. With his signature white markings and floppy ears, he's a fan favorite — especially when he's lounging like a king or nuzzling visitors' hands for treats. As a pedigreed buck, Noah plays an important role in our breeding program and passes on his handsome looks and loving temperament to every litter.

November 5, 2024
Bambi
Bambi is our beautiful Jersey heifer with big eyes, a gentle spirit, and an exciting future on the farm. She was bottle-raised at a friend's place before trotting over to join the Outside Inn family, and she's already won hearts with her calm, friendly nature. As she grows, Bambi is being prepped for her future role as our very first milk cow, and soon she'll be bred with Fred to raise adorable calves and provide fresh, creamy milk right from the farm.

November 9, 2024
Fefe
Fefe, short for Ophelia, holds a special place in our hearts as the very first calf born right here at Outside Inn. A mix of Fred, our mini Highland bull, and Delilah, our mini Black Angus, Fefe inherited the best of both worlds — a petite build, a shaggy charm, and a whole lot of personality. Don't let her tiny size fool you — Fefe struts through the pasture with the confidence of a full-grown cow.

January 12, 2025
Bux
Meet Bux, our miracle lamb with the softest fleece and the sweetest story. Orphaned and found alone on the side of the highway, Bux spent his first week in diapers, living indoors with a foster who gave him around-the-clock care. When the rescue group reached out, we welcomed him as our very first lamb — and he instantly became part of the family. Now bottle-fed and snuggled in sweaters, Bux is thriving and stealing hearts with every bleat.

January 16, 2025
Stacy
Stacy is a miniature Hereford calf with a perfectly heart-melting face and an adorably petite build. She's one of the smallest calves on the farm — but what she lacks in size, she makes up for in charm. Still a little shy in her new surroundings, Stacy is sticking close to her mom for comfort while she adjusts. With each day, though, she's growing braver and more curious, and it won't be long before she's bouncing around the pasture like she owns it.

January 16, 2025
Stacy's Mom
This gentle mini Hereford mama arrived with Stacy at her side and has been quietly settling into life at Outside Inn. Though she's one of the smallest adult cows on the farm, she keeps a watchful eye over her baby with the calm confidence of a seasoned mom. With her sweet face and quiet nature, she's beginning to warm up to the team — slowly, but surely. She's proof that the best things often come in small, sturdy packages.

February 22, 2025
Batman
Meet Batman, our black Babydoll Southdown lamb with a wooly coat and an even woolier personality. Rejected at birth, Batman arrived at our farm at just under 24 hours old and has been making his voice heard ever since. Whether he's peeking around corners, trotting up to guests, or belting out his famous "feed me!" call, Batman knows how to charm a crowd. He's convinced every visitor is a potential bottle-bringer — and honestly, it's hard to say no to that fuzzy face.

March 4, 2025
Benny
Benny is one of Winnie's twin boys, and he's always on the move! The moment he spots something new, he's off to investigate — leaping, climbing, and testing boundaries with boundless energy. Whether he's playfully butting heads with his brother or climbing on a hay bale like it's Mount Everest, Benny's adventurous spirit keeps everyone entertained.

March 4, 2025
Jet
Jet might be smaller than his brother, but what he lacks in size, he makes up for in flair. This little guy is always bouncing, hopping, and striking silly poses that have earned him the nickname "the clown of the goat yard." He follows Winnie everywhere and never misses a chance to show off his spring-loaded legs. Jet brings laughter and liveliness to every corner of the farm.

March 6, 2025
Darla
Darla is Amy's newest doeling, and she's already making herself known! With her floppy ears, bold bleats, and inherited sass, she's definitely her mama's girl. But behind that loud little voice is a tender heart — Darla is a total cuddlebug who loves to be held and melts into your arms like a baby goat burrito. Whether she's calling out for attention or nestling in for snuggles, Darla is full of personality and charm from head to hoof.
