We built Outside Inn for every style of camping, so there's no separate tent area tucked off in a corner. Tent campers pitch right on our back-in sites, in either the farm section or the forest section. Every site has a gravel parking pad, power and water, WiFi, a picnic table and a fire ring, with room to pitch your tent. Pick your setting: grass and tree cover on the farm side, or pine needles and deep shade in the forest.

Tents go on our back-in sites, farm or forest. Every site has a gravel parking pad, power and water, a picnic table, a fire ring and complimentary Starlink Wi-Fi, with plenty of room to pitch your tent. The bathhouse is a short walk away.

On the farm side, each back-in site has a grassy space right beside the gravel parking pad for your tent. These sites back up to the woods and still have some tree cover, so you get a little shade and a grassy spot to call yours.

In the forest section, we kept the big trees and went with mulch and pine needles underfoot. The sites are surrounded by forest with lots of tree cover.

Why no separate tent area? We built the campground for all styles of camping. Instead of a primitive tent section off on its own, tent campers pitch on the same back-in sites as everyone else, with the same gravel pad, power and water, WiFi, picnic table and fire ring. Every site comes with its own fire ring and picnic table. Grab a firewood bundle and a s'mores kit at the farmstand and settle in. Once the fire burns down, look up: these are some of the darkest skies in the region, and on a clear night the stars come out over camp.

Mornings
Wake up on a working farm
Unzip the tent to birdsong and the barn waking up. Wander over for the 9:30am feeding to meet the Highland cattle, goats, pigs, a donkey, chickens and ducks — all guests are welcome — then take a loop on the 1.5 miles of wooded trails before the day warms up.

Tent camping is bring-your-own. Pack your tent, sleeping bags, camp chairs, and a cooler. We supply the back-in site with a gravel parking pad, a picnic table, a fire ring, power and water, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a clean, air-conditioned bathhouse a short walk away. Park on the pad, pitch your tent beside it, and you're set. Want a bed and a roof instead? Take a look at our glamping tent or renovated camper — both come stocked and ready.

The bathhouse is a short walk from your site. It's clean, modern, and air-conditioned, with hot showers and flush toilets. Laundry is on property too.
Yes — every site has its own fire ring. Firewood bundles and fire starters are available at our on-site farmstand, along with s'mores kits.
Yes. Complimentary Starlink Wi-Fi reaches every site, and cell service is strong on property — you're covered if you need to check in with the world.
Yes — tent camping is bring-your-own: tent, sleeping bags, camp chairs, and a cooler. If you'd rather have a bed and a roof, our glamping tent and renovated camper come stocked and ready.
Yes — the campground welcomes leashed pets. We ask that pets stay leashed at all times and away from the farm animal areas. If your pet is reactive around livestock, please keep that in mind, since we have animals on property.
The farm is close by. Join the daily feedings at 9:30am and 5:00pm to feed and pet the Highland cattle, goats, pigs, donkey, chickens, and ducks. All guests are welcome at the barn.

Absolutely the most adorable camping experience. Being able to interact with the animals was amazing — we loved watching the feeding times and learning about all of them. We will be back!
